April 01, 2010
This morning, we went live with a new version of our website.
Consider us now to be your very own Microsoft Office Clippy as we give you a guided tour.

Our data site is entirely new. Let’s break it down.
Search by player last name. Search by team. You’ll find stats updated semi-weekly for all of Division 1, with new features to be added throughout the rest of the season.
We tried to capture that sense of curiosity and serendipity that often comes from obsessively tracking college players for the draft. We’re constantly amazed at the avenues our research takes us as we’re kicking around online.
Remember that feeling when you first stumbled upon Baseball-Reference and the next thing you knew it was 2:30 AM? So do we, so be sure to keep looking for all the different links you can click-through as you start digging in.

This is our blog. Expect many witticisms (real and imagined) and random items of interest. We’ll start rolling out more standard and sabermetric leaderboards and rankings than you can shake an aluminum bat at in the next few days.
As we get closer to June 7, you can look forward to more draft-specific content, as well as even more research pieces than you can already find from us at The Hardball Times.

Oh. Dear. God. Who gave Kent the keys to a Twitter account? Follow along, and you’ll likely find 140 characters of tomfoolery. On the bright side, it’s also an easy way to get access to our daily Division 1 Top Performers, Player Watches, and blog updates.
Enjoy!
